Select a PostScript printer from Print Setup.

- In the Internet Information Services windows, expand the server, expand the Web Sites folder, and then expand Default FTP Site.
- Right-click the UPWUpload folder, and then click Properties.
- Select the Write check box, and then click OK.
- Use Windows Explorer to locate C:\Inetpub\ftproot\UPWUpload.
- Right-click the UPWUpload folder, click Properties, and then select the Security tab.
- Add the IWAM_MachineName, and IUSR_MachineName accounts if necessary. Grant Modify permissions to both accounts.

Page ranges or selections cannot be printed when Overlays is enabled. Overlays merges variable data with the active image at time of output and cannot be used when printing page ranges or selections. This behavior is by design.

A mismatched paper catalog occurs when a change is made to the catalog at the DigiMaster 9110, but the copy used by Custom Print is not refreshed.
When using Custom Print to output to multiple printers each with different paper catalogs, a job saved using the paper catalog from one printer subsequently output to another printer with a different paper catalog will cause this condition to occur.
When printing to a DigiMaster 9110 using the Custom Print Interface from Image Arranger or UltraPrint, the print job does not print and does not appear in the Job Manager at the Operator Control Interface (OCI).

CauseThe LPR service uses TCP ports 721 through 731 for LPR connections. This complies with RFC 1179 but limits performance because it only enables 11 TCP ports to be in use by the service at one time. Per RFC 1122, each port must not be reused for four minutes. This can cause available ports to become exhausted in a busy printing environment or when using Overlays to merge large amounts of variable data.

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it.
To use Registry Editor, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, and then type regedit in the Open box.
- If the following value exists, double-click the entry. If the value does not already exist, on the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then type the following information:
Value Name: <IP address of LPR printer port> Data Type : REG_DWORD Value : 1 Value Type: Binary 0 = uses ports 721-731 (default) 1 = uses any port >1024 - Restart the Spooler service for the changes to take affect. At an MS-DOS command prompt type net stop spooler. To restart the Spooler service, at an MS-DOS command prompt type net start spooler.

CauseWindows Data Execution Prevention (DEP) has prevented Arranger from accessing a memory location required to perform one of these functions.
ResolutionTurn off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for Arranger.

- To open System Properties, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
- Click the Advanced tab and, under Performance, click Settings.
- Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
- In the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select list, do the following:
- To turn off DEP for a program, select the check box next to IA.exe and click OK. (If the name of the program doesn't appear in the list, click Add, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Alto Imaging Arranger folder, select IA.exe, and click OK).

Unable to perform UDS Attach or UDS Detach When Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008
